Prime Minister  Narendra Modi met President of the USA,  Joseph R. Biden in New Delhi today. President Biden, who is visiting India for the first time in his capacity as President, will be participating in the G20 Summit in New Delhi on September 9-10, 2023. 

Prime Minister Modi conveyed his appreciation for President Biden’s vision and commitment to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, which is based on shared democratic values, strategic convergences and strong people-to-people ties.

The two leaders commended the progress in implementing the futuristic and wide-ranging outcomes of Prime Minister’s historic State visit to the U.S. in June 2023, including under the India-U.S. Initiative for Critical and Emerging Technology (iCET). 

The leaders welcomed the sustained momentum in bilateral cooperation , including  in the areas of defence, trade, investment, education, health, research, innovation, culture and people-to-people ties.

President Biden warmly congratulated Prime Minister and the people of India on Chandrayaan-3’s historic landing near the lunar south pole and highlighted deepening cooperation between the two countries in Space. 

The two leaders also exchanged views on a number of regional and global issues. They agreed that India- US partnership was beneficial not only for the people of the two countries but also for global good. 

Prime Minister thanked President Biden for the consistent support received from the United States in ensuring success of India’s G20 Presidency.

जामिया मिल्लिया इस्लामिया के तीन पूर्व स्टूडेंटस भी चंद्रयान मिशन —3 का हिस्सा रहे हैं. इनके नाम अमित भारद्धाज, मोहम्मद काशिफ और अरीब अहमद हैं.  यह तीनों ही जामिया विश्वविदायलय के बीटेक के छात्र रहे हैं. इन्होंने मैकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग विभाग, इंजीनियरिंग विभाग और टेक्नॉलोजी विभाग से अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी की थी.

जामिया विश्वविदायल ने बताया कि इन तीनों छात्रों ने वैज्ञानिक ओर इंजीनियर पद के लिए इसरो में आवेदन देने के साथ इसके लिए परीक्षा दी थी. इसमें मोहम्मद काशिफ ने परीक्षा में पहला स्थान हासिल किया था. विश्वविदालय ने बताया कि तीनों का  चयन इसरो में हो गया था. यह तीनो ही चंद्रयान मिशन से जुड़े हुए थे. इन्होंने चंद्रयान के विभिन्न चरणों में अपना महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया.

जामिया विश्वविदायल की वीसी प्रो नजमा अख्तर ने कहा कि यह जामिया के लिए गर्व की बात है कि इसके छात्र मिशन चंद्रयान से जुड़े हुए हैं. ये छात्र आने वाले समय में अन्य छात्रों के लिए रोल मॉडल होंगे.

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव तरुण चुग ने चंद्रयान 3 के अभियान सफलता पर इसरो की पूरी टीम और समस्त देशवासियों को बधाई दी . उन्होंने कहा कि यह पल भारत के 140 करोड़ लोगों के लिए बड़ा ऐतिहासिक पल है. उन्होंने भाजपा मुख्यालय में चंद्रयान-3 अभियान की सफलता की खुशी में आतिशबाजी का भी नेतृत्व किया. इस दौरान भाजपा मुख्यालय में जमकर पटाखे फोड़े गए.

चुग ने कहा कि मिशन चंद्रयान 3  की  यह उपलब्धि भारत की अंतरिक्ष की दुनिया में एक बडी उपलब्धि है. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत ने एक नया इतिहास बनाया है. यह पूरे देश और देशवासियों के लिए गौरवपूर्ण क्षण है.

चुग ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में आज का भारत एक मजबूत भारत है,. आजादी के अमृतकाल में भारत आत्म निर्भर और मजबूत राष्ट्र बनने की ओर अग्रसर है. प्रधानमंत्री ने अपने समस्त 140 करोड़ परिवार जनों को बधाई दी और इस गौरवपूर्ण क्षण और भावनाओ को पुरे देश के साथ साझा किया. यह समस्त देशवासियों के लिए हमेशा यादगार पल रहेगा.

चुग ने कहा कि अभी तो यह शुरुवात है. एक समय अंतरिक्ष के क्षेत्र मे भारत को दूसरे देशों पर निर्भर रहना पड़ता था. आज भारत प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर बनता जा रहा है और अब भारत रुकने वाला नहीं है. भारत दुनियां की तीसरी बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था बनेगा और उसमें तकनीक की बहुत बड़ी भूमिका होगी.
